Day 1. Accommodations: Arusha Coffee lodge
Meet your Driver Guide at JRO airport
(Please look out for the board with your name on it)
and you will be transferred to Arusha Coffee Lodge
for dinner & accommodation.Arusha Coffee Lodge is
situated on the entrance off the major highway and cushioned
in a coffee plantation and along side one of the best restaurants
in the area Redds African Grill House. Arusha Coffee Lodge was
inspired by the grace and romance of a fine 'old-time' coffee plantation where guests could anticipate an accommodations of the highest standard.
Day 2. Accommodations: Swala camp
Early breakfast at 0630am then at 730am transfer to Arusha airstrip for your flight to Tarangire National Park. On arrival at KURO airstrip you will be met by the Guide from Tarangire Tree Tops and continue with the game drive in Tarangire National Park.
Tarangire is perhaps best known for its large herds of elephants.
The park is home to around 2500 elephants and herds of more
than 200 have been viewed from the lodge veranda. With its
varied habitats and permanent water in the Tarangire River
the park is home to a large diversity of wildlife; 94 species
of mammals, and over 500 bird species have been recorded
in Tarangire. Dinner and accommodations at Swala Camp.
Day 3. Accommodations: Swala camp
After breakfast transfer for game drive - Tarangire is famed
for its large concentrations of elephant and spectacular baobabs
of every shape and colour. The river is the park's lifeline and attracts much
of the game to its banks. You may also find some of the many leopard that
rest by day in the shady trees. The park is also home to kudu with their immense spiral horns, and oryx with their equally lengthy rapier horns. These shy, show-stopping antelope are common in Tarangire. Dinner and accommodations at Swala Camp.
Day 4. Accommodations: Migration Camp
Today after breakfast you will be transferred to Kuro Airstrip for flight to Serengeti. Flight departs at 0840 and arrives at 1020 on Arrival at Lobo Airstrip you will be met by your Guide and proceed for game drive in the Serengeti.
A million of wildebeest... each one driven by the same ancient rhythm, fulfilling its instinctive role in the inescapable cycle of life: a frenzied three-week bout of territorial conquests and mating; survival
of the fittest as 40km (25 mile) long columns plunge through
crocodile-infested waters on the annual exodus north; replenishing
the species in a brief population explosion that produces more
than 8,000 calves daily before the 1,000 km (600 mile)
pilgrimage begins again.
Dinner and accommodations at Migration camp.
Day 5. Accommodations: Migration Camp
Breakfast then game drive with packed lunch , evening transfer
to the Camp - the Serengeti Migration Camp is the embodiment
of the ‘camp’ experience. Located next to the famous Grumeti River
which are home to resident hippos that bark and wallow their days away, Serengeti Migration Camp has become synonymous with low-impact high-action game viewing in a landscape that is untouched since the dawn of time.
Hidden among the rocky outcrops Serengeti Migration Camp is located at the starting point of the Migration. Comprising of 20 luxurious elevated tents, each with spacious and richly furnished bedrooms, Serengeti Migration Camp blends seamlessly into the environment. Dinner and accommodations Migration Camp
Day 6. Accommodations: Pioneer Camp
After breakfast transfer for game drive to central Serengeti arrive for lunch or afternoon game drive in central Serengeti - The area is best known for its enormous herbivore migration, led by over a million
zebra and wildebeest, a vast voracious lawnmower which in
turn provides sustenance for a glut of predators.
Dinner and accommodations at the Pioneer Camp.
Day 7. Accommodations: Pioneer Camp
Breakfast then day at leisure at the camp, lunch then afternoon
game drive - The area is best known for its enormous herbivore
migration, led by over a million zebra and wildebeest, a vast
voracious lawnmower which in turn provides sustenance for a glut of predators. Evening return to Pioneer Camp for dinner and accommodations.
Day 8. Accommodations: Gibbs farm
At 730am have your breakfast then transfer to Lobo airstrip for your flight to Manyara– Flight departs 0915 arrive Manyaraat 11:15 Meet and transfer for game drive in Lake Manyara National park - Lake Manyara National Park well known for the tree climbing lions, the soda ash lake and its flamingos, we are talking about
breathtaking scenery thereafter transfer to Gibbs Farm Lodge.
Day 9. Accommodations: Gibbs farm
Wake up early for breakfast around 0630 then at 07am drive
to Ngorongoro crater with packed lunch- The Ngorongoro Crater
was once a gigantic volcano, perhaps taller than Kilimanjaro.
Today – its peak long since collapsed and eroded – it is now an
extensive highland area with the famous Ngorongoro Crater as its
focal point. This natural amphitheater covers an area 260 sq. km
and has approximately 25,000 large mammals, almost half consisting of
Zebra and Wildebeest. Then transfer to GIBBS Farm is a small luxurious
hotel accommodations located on the forested slopes of the Ngorongoro
Conservation Area. Gibbs Farm is located at the entrance to the highlands
of northern Tanzania, midway between Lake Manyara and the Ngorongoro Crater, five kilometers from the village of Karatu.
Day 10
Drive to Arusha, lunch at Shanga, shopping then transfer to JRO for international departure flights.
